Erotic Professionals & Alias United: A much-needed pre-election industry town hall for sex workers and allies is happening

Who says sex workers and colleagues don’t have a voice in the election? Turns out the Erotic Professionals and Allies United crew are coming together for a huge pre-election industry town hall.

It’s all about the pre-election discussion for EPA United

It’s all going down in the coming days with people from all over the globe able to particulate. An open platform for sex workers, fans and everyone in-between to come together to dish on the upcoming election? Oh yes.

Erotic Professionals & Allies United (EPAUnited.org) is set to host a public online forum on Tuesday, October 29, at 5:00 PM PT/8:00 PM ET on X (formerly known as Twitter), offering a platform for sex workers, fans and allies to discuss the upcoming election and explore policies that directly affect their lives. 

The event will bring together voices from the adult industry to converse on topics such as local elections, reasons to vote and possible post-election political scenarios relevant to sex workers and their communities. Featured confirmed speakers include Savannah Sly (EPA United), Mike Stabile (Free Speech Coalition), Madison Zack-Wu (Strippers Are Workers), Carly David (PS Group), attorney Corey Silverstein, Clara Kitty (Cpank Chain), Ricci Levy and Mandy Sally (Woodhull Freedom Foundation), as well as adult industry workers Queen Lo, Sinn Sage, and Allie Awesome.

The Twitter/W Space event include discussions on the mission of EPA United, the importance of politically mobilizing the sex work community, and how allies can make a difference. Speakers will be invited to share perspectives on policy priorities that will improve the safety and prosperity of adult industry professionals. The format will feature an open floor for questions and closing remarks from key participants.

“This forum is a space for collaboration and information sharing during a critical time for the US” said Savannah Sly of EPA United, “We aim to amplify the voices of sex workers and their allies, ensuring that politicians recognize us as a powerful and essential voting bloc.” 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with the “Pledge to Vote” call to action and explore voting tools on the EPA United website. By fostering open dialogue and civic engagement, the event seeks to empower the community to influence the political landscape in meaningful ways.
