Acclaimed rapper, singer, songwriter and podcast host Sy Ari Da Kid shares the visual for “Rebellion” featuring Benny The Butcher and CyHi Da Prynce. Filmed in the heart of Underground Atlanta, the song offers a raw and authentic glimpse into the three artists’ musical journeys.
"Benny, Cyhi, and I vividly depict our journey from poverty, where defying laws and rules was necessary for survival and providing for our families. Despite the struggle, pain, and challenges, we persevered in an environment designed to hold us back. This story shines a light on the risks young Black individuals face in trying to escape poverty, while also revealing the harsh realities that can result from the paths we choose to take," explains Sy Ari Da Kid.
The track is the lead single from Sy Ari’s celebrated album The Last Shadow In The Shade, an album created for artists and anyone who has ever felt overshadowed or unrecognized in their field. The Last Shadow In The Shade was hailed as a “must-hear album of 2025” by AllHipHop and featured in album picks of the week by XXL and VIBE.
Earlier this month, Sy Ari released the music video for “A Block Away From The Corner Store,” filmed in his old neighborhood on the northside of Atlanta.
