Central Cee: The vibes are more than international in the 'I Will' music video

Want to have some serious international appeal? Look no further than putting your admiration into hip-hop crooner Central Cee and what he’s serving up these days courtesy of the newly released ‘I Will’ anthem.

Way bigger than just a fire single, Double C comes through with the new song’s official music video. Tap in.

Central Cee has released his first single of the year, the quasi-ballad, “I Will.” Following his attendance as the only UK Rapper at this year’s Super Bowl, the track sees the 25-year-old West London-hailing musician showcasing the breadth of his talent, as he sings and raps in synchronicity, creating an undeniably addictive chorus that is sure to linger long after listening. The romantic-leaning lyricism sees Cench reflecting on a love interest in the club: “You didn’t put on YSL just to go bed all by yourself.”

The accompanying video was filmed in Brighton and tells the story of a beautiful, lonely girl, looking for love, with Cench narrating her life. Interspersed with performance moments from Cench himself, the video is a powerful and cinematic offering that perfectly compliments the introspective and reflective mood of the single. “If nobody will, I will.” The new offering follows on from last year’s raw, unfiltered rap release, “Entrapreneur”, which took an authentic look back into Cench’s journey to the top, and his hectic schedule of the past two years.

Both solo moments land in the wake of the enormous success of Central Cee’s collaborative project Split Decision with Dave, and stand-out single “Sprinter,” the latter of which was crowned as the most played song of 2023 on Spotify in the UK. The single also became the longest-running number-one rap song in the UK, holding the position for 10 weeks. Cench also rounded off an incredible year with two huge features; “Too Much” with The Kid LAROI and Jung Kook, and “Nice To Meet You” with longtime friend PinkPantheress.

Just last week, Central Cee won two further MOBO Awards, for Best Male and Song Of The Year for “Sprinter," giving him a total of six MOBO Awards. He is also nominated for four Brit Awards at this year’s 2024 ceremony in March: ‘Artist of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year’ for both “Sprinter” and “Let Go”, and ‘Best HipHop/Rap/Grime Act’.

Last year, Central Cee became the first UK Rapper to hit 2 billion streams on Spotify alone. With an inimitable trajectory, Central Cee has over 6 billion worldwide global streams and is truly unstoppable.
